The feast of tents – Sukkot

God dwelling among men

The feast of tents – Sukkot

What is man that You oh Lord are mindful of him?

The son of man that You care for Him?

Yet countless times, You visit me

What could I ever give  You?

A present  befitting  of a King

Almighty, omnipotent God

You own everything

Yet you desire to commune with man

Mere man, with a lifespan is so short,  that it is compared  to a breath of vapor

Man, who comes from dust and returns to dust

God most powerful, maker of heaven and earth

I can’t wait to for Your visits

So that we may eat and dwell together

Come oh Lord and find Your resting place

With us who love Your Son Jesus

Your precious Son, the King of kings

We have built a tent for You

Come and dwell in our hearts

King Jesus the King of kings and the King of our hearts

The feast of tents has began

Our King walks in and takes His place

The highest place in our hearts

A special place,  He is our first love

It is the feast of tents

God communes with man

Emanuel, God with us

If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself. 2 Timothy 2:13

2 Corinthians 1:20

For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

Amen! on my way to work just the other day , I saw this spectacular rainbow and I was reminded of God’s Faithfulness. even if we are unfaithful He remains faithful. what a mighty and merciful God we have! and how much self restraint He must exercise! Our God is love pure love!!!

The wisdom of the wise (mediation required…)

Wisdom anyone?

Are you looking to find wisdom? Did you realize that she calls out to all who seek her? That she seeks to see if anyone is interested?

 Proverbs 1:20-23 (NASB)

 Wisdom Warns

Wisdom shouts in the street,
She lifts her voice in the square;
At the head of the noisy streets she cries out;
At the entrance of the gates in the city she utters her sayings:
“How long, O naive ones, will you love being simple-minded?
And scoffers delight themselves in scoffing
And fools hate knowledge?
 “Turn to my reproof,
Behold, I will pour out my spirit on you;
I will make my words known to you.

 Where does it all begin? We know that all good things come from God.

 Proverbs 8:13 (NASB)

 “The fear of the Lord is to hate evil;
Pride and arrogance and the evil way
And the perverted mouth, I hate.

 Since wisdom calls out to the simple. Where do I find her? Where can we agree to meet?

Proverbs 8:12, 20 (NASB)

 12 “I, wisdom, dwell with prudence,
And I find knowledge and discretion.

 20 “I walk in the way of righteousness,
In the midst of the paths of justice

How do I find these paths? I am a mere man, a simple man. Thank you Lord Jesus because You lead me in these paths of righteousness, Amen! I am not alone, the Holy Spirit convicts me when I stray away from the paths of life, He encourages and comforts me when the price that  I must pay for walking in these paths is high.

 Psalm 23:3 (NASB)

 He restores my soul;
He guides me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.

Our all mighty God and His perfect ways. He seeks to find one who is wise.

 Psalm 89:14 (NASB)

 Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne;
Lovingkindness and truth go before You.

 Psalm 14:2 (NASB)

The LORD has looked down from heaven upon the sons of men To see if there are any who understand, Who seek after God.

His paths

He leads me beside still waters

He makes me lie down

He leads me in paths of righteousness

For His name’s sake

Wisdom transverses in the paths of righteousness and justice

His kingdom is founded on two pillars, righteousness and justice

Ancient ways tested and tried

Only in this path will my soul find rest

My savior called it the narrow road

That only few travel

The rest buy into the lies of the freedom

Promised in the wider roads

“You are free here!” The world promises . ” There are many  benefits if you just comply…”.

Yet the road that seems right to man leads to destruction

but His yoke is easy

I choose life

I choose You my Lord Jesus

I will walk into the paths that You lead me in

Paths of righteousness and justice

Your paths

I am your child

When I am afraid, You say I am your child

Come, My child

Sit with Me

Eat at My table

Live in Me

Whether I am forty, seventy or a hundred years old

I am still Your child

I can come to You and sit with You

I can eat at Your table

I don’t have to worry about what I will eat, wear or where I will live

In You, is abundance

I will eat my fill

The earth is filled with Your possessions

They say access is everything, possessing is nothing

Through Christ I have access, to riches so great

I am Your child

You take care of things concerning me

You are in control

You are my Father

You are a good Father

I find peace in You alone

My Father, the creator of heaven and earth

I am Your child
